TWF Badge Definitions

  • AOA Badge Holder – A badge for individuals needing access to the Airport Operations Area (AOA) inside the perimeter fence. Examples are General Aviation Hangar owners, sub-lessees, employees, flying clubs, and BLM/Forest Service.
  • SIDA Badge Holders – Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) this is a restricted area in and around the terminal. This area is off limits to all non-SIDA badge holders.
  • Authorized Signatory – Person or persons responsible for:
    • Invite new hires to apply for a badge
    • Authorize or prevent renewals
    • Manage badges under your authorization
    • Respond to TSA-ordered badge audits

About Airport Badges

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires that Joslin Field Magic Valley Regional Airport – TWF issue badges to all individuals who have unescorted access inside the fenced area of Airport property.
